Downtown is a new vendor for us. Their shipment of products included a lot of enticing strains, but Power Nap spoke to me the most at the time (yes, I was tired).
I came home from work that day with sore muscles, a migraine, and a crappy attitude. I opened the packaging and was greeted by a skunk doused in lemonade. I took a nug out and started to pack a bowl. The large nugs were very dry, which made packing the bowl easy, but caused flames up to my eyebrows.
Power Nap has a muted and subtle citrus flavor. The high set in with full body relaxation and a mental buzz right behind my eyes. If I hadn’t felt so sleepy and hungry I’m sure the creative mood I found myself in would have made some excellent art.
Half an hour after the I finished the bowl I was covered in blankets on the couch with a bag of chips and no migraine. I only had two hours until S came home from work, but I couldn’t keep my eyes open for that long. I then woke up at 8am (only 6 hours after getting home from work) and I was wide awake and ready to start the day. I had to force myself to go back to sleep and I woke up groggier the second time.
I think this strain would be really useful for a solid 5 hour power ‘nap’- therefore, I think it’s very aptly named.
If you’ve tried Power Nap by Downtown (or any of their other strains) let me know what you thought in the comments below!
